We started our day by jumping on the ferry heading for Toronto Island to capture the story of Alexandra and Adrian’s wedding. We began at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club to capture the story of Adrian and his groomsmen getting ready. After spending about another hour and a half with Alexandra and her bridesmaids, it was time for the first look.

After a quick scout around the house, Steve from Tara Lilly Photography and I agreed the best place for Alexandra and Adrian to have their first look would be on the second floor balcony of the yacht club.

The wedding ceremony took place at the beautifully decorated waterfront close by. This elegant outdoor location provided spectacular natural light and lots of space for our three camera ceremony setup. The ceremony was conducted by Sam Pickens from C3 Toronto Church who was light hearted and offered up some great advice for the newly weds.

The reception was located in the RCYC Ballroom, which offered fantastic light through it’s skylight windows, as well as a wonderful aesthetic.

The night ended off with great live music by the Dwayne Gretzky Band. We also had the pleasure of working along side some great vendors; Tara Lilly Photography, Bryn Allison (An Artistic Affair), C3 Toronto Church.
